Young Volunteer Academy
Aims to encourage the practice of volunteering, by providing spaces for action between young people from both archipelagos, potential training experiences, citizenship and values such as tolerance, solidarity and a spirit of initiative.
Recipients:
- Young people residing in the Autonomous Regions of the Azores and Madeira, aged between 18 and 30 years old.
Entities – host organizations must be dedicated to pursuing the areas of action provided for in the program, as well as meeting the conditions to integrate volunteers and coordinate the exercise of their activity. They can be:
- Youth associations or similar registered in the respective regional register of Young Associativism;
- Higher education student associations;
- Public entities;
- Other legal persons governed by public or private law, legally constituted.
Duration: one to two months.
How to participate?
Applications can be made throughout the year.
Approval of applications depends on validation by the sending Region and acceptance by the host Region.

Recipients
Young people between the ages of 18 and 30, on the date the volunteering action begins, and residing in the Autonomous Region of the Azores or Madeira, may participate in the Programme.
