The Regional Directorate of Youth

WHO WE ARE

A Regional Directorate for Youth's mission is the CONCEPTION, IMPLEMENTATION AND EVALUATION of the Regional Government's policy of and for youth.

A DRJ is governed by the values of RESPONSIBILITY, LEADERSHIP, LOYALTY, TRANSPARENCY, COLLECTIVE COMMITMENT, DIALOGUE, PEDAGOGY AND COOPERATION.

A our Vision is guided by the search for EXCELLENCE in conceptualization for the execution of youth policies and for the EFFICIENCY of operational instruments of these policies.

A great TRANSVERSALITY and outreach of the strategy for young people in the Region, seeking to promote competences of NON-FORMAL EDUCATION, which contribute, in their Globally, for a better QUALITY OF LIFE and ENRICHMENTb> personal, and that endow young people with socio-professional COMPETENCES integral, towards greater employability and integration into active life.

WHAT WE DO

OBJECTIVES | SKILLS

Our objectives - EVALUATE, ADAPT AND OPERATIONALIZE - are based on three main objectives – + leadership and participation; + training and + employability.

DRJ's main competencies are:

- Assist the Regional Secretary for Youth, Housing and Employment in the formulation and implementation of youth policies;

- Establish intersectoral, transdisciplinary and multilevel COOPERATION mechanisms, aiming to pursue youth policies ;

- Promote the creation of INFORMATION SYSTEMS, service and counseling for young people and their families associations;

- Create and maintain INCENTIVE AND SUPPORT PROGRAMS AND MEASURES, aimed at young people, in the following areas:

Mobility | Young associations | Volunteering and Citizenship | Creativity | Free time occupation | Entrepreneurship | Environmental transition | Digital Transition and Capacity Building | Training of Young People

- Statistically analyze data relating to the implementation of transversal youth policies and DEVELOP REFLECTIONS resulting from information obtained, in order to IMPROVE, ADAPT or REINFORCE the measures implemented.
