(RE)AGE – Support for Training and Occupational Activities of Young People at Risk

The (RE)AGE program aims to support projects developed by entities that aim, among others, to promote personal and social skills in young people, through non-formal education dynamics and activities, to minimize early school leaving, enhance the social and professional reintegration of young people who are unemployed or inactive at work and intervene early and prospectively on behaviors considered risky or deviant.


APPLICATIONS

Recipients

1 - Young people, residing in the Azores, between 12 and 18 years old, who are identified by the CPCJ, or who are part of the activity of the CDIJ in the Region;

2 – Young people, residing in the Azores, enrolled in Specific Schooling and Training Programs;

3 – Young people, residing in the Azores, up to the age of 26 who are in one of the following situations:

a) Hold an academic degree equal to or lower than level III of the National Qualifications Framework, and who have been registered with the Employment Center for more than 12 months, or who can prove that they have no activity fixed employment period in the 12 months prior to the date of application;

b) Be integrated into reintegration and social reinsertion projects, after serving prison sentences, indicated by the Azores Social Reinsertion Team of the Regional Reinsertion Delegation of the South and Islands /General Directorate of Reinsertion and Prison Services;

c) Are clearly young people at risk or with a record of deviant behavior, identified by the ISSA Social Action Centers, IPSS or the Social Action Offices of the local authorities.

 

Promoting entities

a) Private Social Solidarity Institutions;

b) Entities that integrate youth development and inclusion centers;

c) Other private non-profit associations, which demonstrably develop activities related to social action.
