
Young Autonomy Contest
the young autonomy contest is intended to choose the best interpretation of the Azores anthem, played and sung, or in version to Cappella.
The program aims to sensitize young audiences and make it closer to the identity brands that characterize the Azorean being, namely, the symbols of regional autonomy, through the played and sung version of the Azores Anthem.
o hymn, that symbolizes the history, geography and culture of the Azores, was sung by first public Time, on June 27, 1984, in Ponta Delgada.
Recipients
The program is aimed at young people from the Azores and/or with tax domicile in the Autonomous Region of the Azores, aged between 6 and 35 years.
Participation may occur:
- individually;
- through non-profit collective entities;
- or as part of informal youth groups.
Participants are organized into three age groups, according to their age at the time of application submission:
a) Tier 1– young people aged 6 to 12, inclusive;
b) Echelon 2 – young people aged 13 to 17, inclusive;
c) Echelon 3 – young people aged 18 to 35, inclusive.
Awards
The winning entry in each age group is awarded a non-refundable prize, under the following terms:
a) Echelon 1 – R$ 200.00 (two hundred reais);
b) Echelon 2 – R$ 300.00 (three hundred reais);
c) Echelon 3 – R$500.00 (five hundred reais).
