Financial support system for renting by young people, formed in households or in cohabitation.
Aims
The Porta 65 Jovem aims to regulate incentives for young tenants, stimulating:
- More autonomous lifestyles by young people alone, with families or in youth cohabitation;
- The rehabilitation of degraded urban areas;
- The dynamization of the rental market.
This program supports the renting of housing for residences, assigning a percentage of the rent as a monthly subsidy.
Beneficiaries
Young people aged 18 years or over and under 35 years (in the case of a young couple, one of the elements can be 36 years old, the other element 34 years old, maximum) that meet the following conditions:
- Hold a lease for permanent housing;
- Do not enjoy, cumulatively, any subsidies or other form of public support for housing;
- None of the young members of the household is the owner or tenant for housing purposes of another building or housing unit;
- None of the young household members are related or related to the landlord.
