Incentive System for the Development of Youth Associative Activity

The SIDAAJ - Incentive System for the Development of Youth Associative Activity  groups three support programs for youth associations in the Autonomous Region of the Azores.

Each program has its own characteristics and purposes, with the aim of contributing to autonomy, dynamism and proactiveness of the associations.

 


PPA - Support program for Activity Plans

The PPA - Activity Plan Support Program supports the development of activities included in the activity plans of youth associations, their respective federations, associations equivalent to youth associations, their respective federations, youth associations and informal groups of young people.

The PPA includes three support measures:

  • Measure I – Financial support for the development of the activities of youth associations, their federations, youth associations and scout associations , scouts and guides;
  • Measure II – Financial support for the development of the activities of student associations and their federations;
  • Measure III – Financial support for the development of activities of informal youth groups.

PPA - Support program for Activity Plans


Projects within the cultural, social, promotion of healthy lifestyle habits and promotion of sustainability are candidates for the PPA.

The following are the PPA support modalities:

  1. Annual support;
  2. Biennial support;
  3. Support for co-associative projects;
  4. One-off support;
  5. Sole support.

Measure I - Includes annual, biennial support for co-associative and one-off projects. Applications for this Measure take place annually, between November 1st and December 15th. In the case of an application for one-off support, a minimum of 30 calendar days before the start of the activity applies.

Measure II - Includes annual support for co-associative and specific projects. Applications for this Measure are submitted annually and have a deadline of January 15th of the year in which the activities are carried out. In the case of an application for one-off support, a minimum of 30 calendar days before the start of the activity applies.

Measure III - Includes only sole support. Applications for this Measure are made at least 30 calendar days before the start of the activity, using a specific form.

PIES - Support program for Investment in Equipment and Infrastructure

The PIES - Support program for Investment in Equipment and Infrastructure supports investment in equipment and infrastructure for the headquarters of youth associations.

PIES includes three financial support measures:

  • Measure I – Financial support for infrastructures, covering support for the construction, repair and acquisition of land and built spaces for carrying out activities and installing headquarters;
  • Measure II – Financial support for the rental of spaces for the installation of headquarters;
  • Measure III – Financial support for the acquisition of equipment for the headquarters.

Applications to PIES run uninterruptedly.

PAS - Support program for Supplementary Activities

The PAS - Support program for Supplementary Activities supports participation in training activities, participation in congresses, seminars, meetings or forums, and the execution of major events. 

PAS includes three support measures:

  • Measure I – Financial support for the training of managers or associates;
  • Measure II – Financial support for participation in congresses, seminars, meetings or forums;
  • Measure III – Financial support for the execution of major events.
