Support Program for Entrepreneurship, Creativity and Young Talent

Program to support young people's initiative, boosting their entrepreneurship in the most diverse ways and encouraging the promotion of projects and training in the creative areas, from the performing arts, through the plastic arts, to design, development and computer programming.

 


Measure 1, START Initiatives

The START initiatives aim to support the implementation of small projects in the areas of youth entrepreneurship and creativity, which contribute to the initial impulse to youth creation and innovation.

Measure 1, START Initiatives


START initiatives are intended for small projects by young people, or intended for young people, who cumulatively gather the following requirements:

  • The project has a maximum implementation duration of six months;
  • Have an estimated budget of a value equal to or less than € 5,000;
  • Do not have commercial purposes.

Candidates for Start initiatives take place within the following deadlines:

  • Between January and February for projects starting in the second half of the calendar year ongoing;
  • Between November and December for projects beginning in the first half of the calendar year following the application.

Measure 2, IMPACT Projects

IMPACT projects are intended to support the development of high potential initiatives in the creative and youth entrepreneurship areas, which result in projects with an impact on the youth community and/or with expectation of sustainability and perpetuity.

Impacts are projects by young people, or intended for young people who cumulatively respect the following requirements:

The project has a maximum implementation duration of 12 months;

present an estimated budget over 5,000.00 € and less than or equal to € 30,000.00

Present at least one partner entity in project development;

do not have commercial purposes.

Impact initiatives applications take place within the following deadlines:

Between January and March for projects starting in the second half of the calendar year ongoing;

Between October and December for projects that start in the first half of the calendar year following the application.

Medida 3, REART

The REART Residencies aim to support the development of innovative projects in the form of short-term artistic residencies, which aim to give young people the opportunity to develop skills in the creative areas, promoting the sharing of experiences among residents, as well as presenting the result of the residency to the local community.

Rearts are subject to compliance, cumulative, of the following requirements:

are intended for young residents or natural from the Azores;

is developed by a private non -profit entity or by an artisan certified by the Azores Craft and Design Center.

have a minimum duration of 3 days and a maximum of 5 days, excluding travel days in applicable cases;

demonstrate the display plan of the creation resulting from the residence;

runs between April 1st and November 30th.

Measure 4, FORMART

FORMART aims to support participation in training actions, within the scope of creative areas, in order to promote in young people the development of differentiating skills that contribute to the enrichment of their catalog of skills and thus contribute to the complementarity of their academic training and to youth employability.

THE TALENT NETWORK – Catalog of young talent aims to encourage the emergence and dissemination of new young talent in different creative areas. This measure also aims to create favorable conditions for mapping young Azorean talent.
